I got the updates up this week! YAY! Go me! There's a sale over at Society 6 that ends tonight, midnight PST. Head on over for 20% off of everything and free worldwide shipping. Only three pieces. I got a late start and a bit impatient. Society 6 for sure got a good upgrade on the artists' uploading end. Which makes me a very happy artist! On that same thread Weebly is finally fixed!! I'm not using the title option to allow the font to be big enough to read. The three new pieces are very different from each other. One is part of an older series, that kind of morphed into a series. My "girl" series has taken a break, she didn't have much to say and I didn't get to art a lot, more on that in a bit. I'm sure she will still be making appearances, as I am loving to tell her story.
For arting, I actually was able to art a tiny bit this week. The plague is still lingering for both the peanut gallery and I. UGH! More on that in a bit. I was able to sit down and up at the PC and do some art. Not a whole lot....abstract came out. I was letting the canvas talk because my noggin' hurts. The focus is for sure not there, yet. I think I'm getting better day by day. The ideas are coming back, I'm hoping the energy and focus can come back, too.
Yup, we STILL have the plague. UGH!! I'm tired of it. I just want to wake up and *poof* be fine. I know that's not how it works, but I can still hope. I am improving...but add in allergies and you have a perfect storm of shit. I'm hearing horror stories of plagues lasting for months...and I'm really hoping we don't have that. I am hanging onto my sanity and it's getting threadbare-er. I need to workout and be able to art...those escape hatches that keeps my noggin' intact. At least I'm able to art...I'm trying to be patient...but ask anyone that knows me, that is not a virtue I possess in much quantity. I'm really not liking the person that decided to go out with this plague and give it to the peanut gallery, which in turn gave it to me. We don't know who said person is, but not a fan.
In other news....I'm still trying to rally around #KeepYouTubeCreepy. They are making progress, but it's still very slow and frustrating. I am really just blown away by the integrity that my favourite creepy content creator Rob Dyke is showing. His personal video's on the Twitter show his integrity and his fight to keep the content he and others' make out of a ridiculous category that they shouldn't be in. He's been personally attacked by other creators', he's losing revenue but doing what he has to do to keep the True Crime and creepy stuff up. He is fighting an honest fight. It is why I am so behind his cause. That and I really do love his content. It's creepy yes, but also you learn a lot as well. Fuels my art and pushes me to be a better artist. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's true...now if only I could get rid of this plague...
On that note, minions, I will leave you with some mild eye strain. One last link to Society 6 so you can get in on a very fast ending sale. Well wishes until Wednesday, when I get to give you more eye straining entertainment. Until then, I bid you an adieu.
