We'll start off with a really big promo sale for the States holiday over at Society 6. You'll need the promo code: LONGWKND. I put my brand new piece (there's a story about this, in a bit) called "The Catch" up. I linked all the links on here to it on a brand new product. It's on my usual products and there's a ton of other art if that's not your style. So head on over to Society 6 and take advantage of a really good sale! It's appreciated, and needed. And the segue card is being played...now!
Well I don't know if it's a segue card, but my poor sleep deprived noggin thinks it is...so we'll go with it. I decided to upload "The Catch" on Saturday, since I had a game day on Sunday...more on that soon! What usually takes me about an hour to upload took me about 3 hours...it was utterly frustrating and that forehead vein was popping. They got rid of some product, the plastic travel mug, put new sizing all without letting the artist know. On top of that the piece was too large for several products...which meant going back and forth to resize and reformat...I hate JPG but it had to be done...I usually work with PNG because when you're resizing you keep the integrity of the piece. Yes, I'm complaining a bit. I don't mind an hour...but almost 3?! That was frustrating...I got a lot of German lessons done in the midst of loading and having to jump from program to website. The relief when it was done was immense. I'm really glad I did it a day early or I would have had to scrap it...
Onto my week! The Day of Dad came one day early. Since it's a holiday in the States, and he lives there he didn't want to get caught up in border traffic. A very understandable thing. It was a very last minute switch. We had fun, moderate amount of running around...and just a well needed Day of Dad...they are all well needed. I really enjoy spending time with my Dad. We always have fun. This time was no exception. Never really is.
Gaming session. After a month, we finally had one...there were more shenanigans' than play time...which is totally fine and again expected because we hadn't seen each other in a long time. We made it to the goal, with me skipping some encounters...but I can add those in next session. They got to level up which made one player VERY happy. I also allowed them to tweak their characters, re-roll a completely new character or multi-class. I think we're at the mid-way point of the campaign. Only one tweaked, the rest just leveled up. We're planning on more than one session for June and hopefully we'll get a lot done. It was a good night. We wrapped it a bit early as they had to level up and one of my players was not feeling too spiffy. It still ended up being the normal late because of the levels and the tweaking and deciding whether or not to multi-class.
Hmmm...I know I'm forgetting something, but hey, that's what next week is for, if it's still relevant. Anyways...remember to check the sale out over at Society 6 and enjoy the new piece! One is currently in the works and I'm pushing the boundaries on this piece. Always pushing myself to grow...as an artist and a human. Until next time minions! That wasn't so bad! I bid you a hearty adieu!
