About Me

I do digital and traditional art. Mainly digital these days, but I do still have a love doing traditional art. If you would have told me a few years ago I would go digital I would have laughed and laughed and laughed. Joke's on me. I am versatile in my genre of art, but you can still see my "style" in all of it. From Abstract to Surrealism....Cartooning to Zendoodling...I like to mash the different genre's of art together (think of a blender) to make something unique and weird...I tend to lean toward the dark, twisted side in my art, but oddly cute in a lot of cases. My noggin' is filled with ideas of strange and bizarre stuff.
I can't say I'm really new to blogging, anymore, I really do enjoy the blog, getting to rant and rave about silly stuff and keep everyone (or as I call everyone, my minions) up to date on the goings' on in my art world and my non-art world. It's a very cool thing to be able to do what you love for a living, the blog is the cherry on top of a very strange world I live in. I hope you enjoy my sites and if you want to contact me, hit the homepage and there's a contact form at the bottom. I reply, I'm not a hoity toity artist...I love interacting with my minions!
Weapons of the Trade:
Digital: Wacom Medium Intuos Pro 4. Felt tip or springy nib are my preferences. While I've tried a lot of different digital art programs, the one I really fell in love with and keep falling in love with as they update it, is Corel Painter 2021.
Traditional: Copic Multi-Liner SP's, Copic Sketch Markers, some white and black charcoal, just General's brand...they do the trick for what I use them for. The paper I use has to be over 65lbs or the Copics chew them up...I have a plethora of colours, textures and types that I use. I do lean towards the more earthy toned colours.
