My quasi-weekend flew by waaay too fast and a lot was not accomplished. Real life got in the way...damn adulting. We rush to grow up and then it's HA HA...dummy. Well either way, there is no escape from the adulting...so you just get shit done. Speaking of...
I got quite a bit of the old art uploaded to Society 6 and I am planning on doing 2 more uploads, if I can get the adulting stuff out of the way. I'm on the homestretch now. If I keep doing multiple uploads, I'll be done...DONE I tell you! I totally didn't see the new stuff that got clumped together with the old stuff and added that in to my days to go...they have been separated and there is a NEW and improved safety net forming...not as extensive. I am really hoping to squeeze in some actual arting time...but my adult to-do list is really long. I did get some traditional doodling done this weekend...always nice to be able to sit back and just doodle. Nothing to write home about, but it's nice just letting the mind and hand wander around the page...So another shameless plug before we get on to other stuff. Make sure you check out Society 6 on a regular basis. New pieces are going up fast. I'm in a focused mindset of getting them up...so there's no stopping me...
So, as the paragraph above said, didn't get arting done...hard to when you aren't near the PC to do said arting and when you are near said PC you are uploading to Society 6. Soon...oh so soon. I have ideas...and they are being quickly sketched in my art log journal so I don't forget them. No blockages, just lack of time.
In non-arty art news...I have not had a chance to do the pre and post planning of the very upcoming gaming session for this weekend. My goal failed for getting it done on my weekend. I have ideas, just time is not on my side. It's not ALL just being too busy. Peanut Gallery has been balancing us with the binge watching, brain rotting goodness. How busy we've both been, it's really nice to have that time together to watch and discuss...and have oddball conversations. So, it may shoot me in the foot a bit, but so worth the foot shooting. I don't like feet anyways, including my own...if I didn't NEED feet I would so just not have them, sadly feet are made for walking and working out, so I guess I will continue my tenuous relationship with them.
On that note my minions, I'm a day late and a dollar short, still feeling like the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland...busy week with a Dad day and a game session, the general adulting. One bonus to having this busy week is I only have to cook 3 suppers' this week. There is major happy dances going on in my noggin about that. I don't trust myself to do an actual happy dance as I'd probably hurt myself. All the grace of a drunken elephant....it is one description that would never be used while describing me.
Okay, off I go! Until Friday? Maybe? I know Peanut Gallery's Mom always looks forward to the Friday blog, I may dedicate this next one to her. She's a good Mom-Law...she let me draw her as a zombie...and as a monster. How cool is that? I don't think many can boast about having a cool Mom-in-law. On that note, minions, I will bid you an adieu...and a fast week! Toodles!
