Where to begin...hmm...How about the zone. I reached this level of focus where I did not want to stop arting. It's been awhile since I hit that level. Two days in a row...yesterday was half way...Needless to say the biggun is almost done. It's nearing around 120 hours of work...did I mention that it was detailed? For awhile I thought I may have had to put it aside until the lobotomy...but I just allotted more brain power of my PC to my program...let's just say the ONLY other thing I can do while arting is listen to my playlist...not online...the Windows Media Player....playlist. It's still laggy as all hell, but it's a do-able lag. I really didn't want to set it aside since I've been talking about it a lot. I was hoping to have it done by today...alas, that did not happen. I'm thinking by the weekend.
After biggun is done...I'm going to finish up another piece that has been sitting on my desktop half done for a few months now. Then on to the plethora of rough sketches. I had a few really solid, ideas...I'm hoping I can pull them off. They are waaay outside of my digital comfort zone...but not very intimidating if I did it traditionally. That pesky fear leads to self-doubt, which leads to hatred...and the Dark Side...**insert evil music here** I'll be sad and relieved at the same time to see the project end...but that is the way of creating things. At least for me.
A busy week is ahead of me, not crazy busy like the week before this past week. That was insanity of the best kind. This is more of a normal insanity...with a possible haircut. I look like a rag-a-muffin. The style grew out well, I admit...but it's driving me crazier than I already am. I am going to try and squeeze it in...perhaps if it's different enough I shall update my profile/studio pictures...The studio is dire need of a clean up. The post-its are staging a coup and they may just win this time. If I don't write it down I will forget...there is too much going on in the noggin'.
Okay minions, I think you are up to date. I probably am forgetting something...you know...it's what I do. I want to welcome the new minions to the show! Thank you for following me in my crazy journey through a vast ocean of what is art..."Call me Amanda Kate". Yup I'm testing you, minions...what famous line did I just bastardize?!
On a final note, as usual, share, like, follow, tweet, and other other forms of social media sharing stuff this site...and the rest of my sites. See the vast ocean above that I am just one little fish in...about to get eaten by a white whale (here is a huge hint for the test above). I will see you on Wednesday...I saw that cringe....Toodles!
