As the title says we are being haunted by winter. Not as badly as some, but still a winter jacket will be needed for today's outing. I know it's normal for my area, but it is making me "Little Miss Cranky Pants" because of all the injuries of yore, flaring up in their lovely arthritic way. Fun times. Thankfully, I can work through most of them. Albeit there have been more breaks than usual. This past week I took it a bit easier, partly because I was busier, some of it was the ouchies the brunt was just stress of the real life. Blech. I like my art world...where it's all magical and things go just right...but that mean lurking stress got it's tendrils into my little world causing a bit of chaos.
No, I am not going to bore you with my real life blech monsters. We all have our own blech monsters that we battle every day. So I will go on to make this a happier-ish place to chill, drink your coffee and get some eye strain. What more could you want?! My coffee is most excellent and my mug most empty. I have had my daily intake, anymore and I will turn into a jittery beast of caffeinated madness...that actually doesn't sound like a bad thing at this point. Here comes some art news...
The "biggun" is coming along, slowly...achingly slowly. I really did over detail it. I love those kind of pieces though. I shall prevail! It is still not half way done, but it's getting closer to the half way mark. All the while, my noggin' is churning out new ideas, and thoughts. I have about four rough sketches on my desktop waiting to be worked on. Meanwhile....the daily digital doodles are coming out really good. I have another set that will make it onto Society 6 in the near future. Maybe next week's update? I am hoping to work on the biggun a lot this week...but you just never know what life will throw at you. It's the plan, at any rate.
The new game I'm playing is influencing my typing I am seeing. A brief little update on the nerd that is me. While Don't Starve still has me in it's clutches...a Christmas gift from 2 years ago has me enthralled. I got it when it was barely playable and now it is wowza different. I love it, even though I suck at the genre which is "real time strategy rpg". It's called Folk Tale. You can get it on Steam, it's funny...changed a whole lot since I last played...and while I still suck at it, I'm getting better. I'm sure the game will influence my art as well as my speechin' skills.
Other than above...we will be sorting through the real life stuffs this week. I will be working, no busies this week. All art stuffs. Granted, I have made promises to take it a bit easier and give myself some downtime. We'll see what happens. I am going to try...that is all any of us can do. Well minions, that's it. I don't think you needed eye drops this time.
On a final note, remember to check the last blog out if you want to become a Society 6 curator and support me all the while making some extra $ stuffs. Share, like, tweet, follow, smoke signal, interpretive dance this site, and the other links to your friends, enemies, random people, strangers...sharing is caring. Seriously, it does help when you do share my pages. I am one little artist in an epic, uber, ocean of other artists...some with the same name as me...how dare their parents' copy off of my parents'?! Harrumph! The nerve! =) See you on Wednesday, my lovely minions!
