Yup, that's right...another scammer called, this morning, actually. I broke my record for quickest hang up ever. 42 seconds. I'm not joking, although the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference was not lost on me. Go me! This time I got to talk to "Steve". Poor "Steve" caught me right when I started drinking the goodness that is coffee...so I went for the jugular, instantly. First, there was no answer to my Hello...until I said I can hear you breathing...then the fun began. I'm almost sad that it lasted under a minute, I honestly think it was "Jack" from the other day (See previous blog, I think 2 or 3 back now). He said he was from the Microsoft technical support, big mistake "Steve", huge. He did ask me how I was. That was nice of the scammer. I told him I was fine and that I didn't own a PC but if he would like to continue his attempt on scamming me that I'd listen. **click** You would think, by now, over the years they have been trying this scam on our number that they would put a note somewhere near the number...or a file...SOMETHING, warning them NOT to call here, unless they enjoy being verbally mauled by a crazy lady that answers the phone. Nope...no notes (I assume), smoke signals, interpretive dances...nothing. So they keep trying and I keep trying to suck the will to live out of them via the phone. I guess this would be a sport to me...
I am not going to blog entirely about the scam this morning...I have better things to blog about, they may not be AS entertaining, but I'll try my best. The last few days, which is your weekend, was very productive for me. I actually finished the traditional piece as I had hoped. Things, for the most part ran smoothly, which means today, grocery day, will probably be a blog in and of itself with rantings and ravings. We'll see. I haven't left the house, yet, the imbalance of coffee to blood ratio has yet to be achieved. I'm working on it. It is, again, exceptionally good.
I am really happy I actually finished the piece. I did a little digital, not too much, I really wasn't feeling it. Not sure why...I don't question the motives too much, I just go with it. I've already started a new piece. I also added on this humble, newly botoxed, website a page where the traditional art is up and for sale. Check it out, if you are interested, please feel free to contact me. The picture really doesn't do it justice, for all the detail I put in and the hours. I have a really crappy camera. It's on my wishlist...better camera. I think a kids' camera would be better than the camera on my tablet. You do what you have to do with what you've got. There are other things that have knocked the camera down a few notches on my wishlist, since while it's crappy, I do HAVE one. I plan on playing the balance game between digital and traditional. I think once the PC gets lobotomized I may focus more on the digital, again. There are so many things I cannot use on the program without giving the PC a complete nervous breakdown...it rocks back and forth, you see tears...if it had a thumb it'd be sucking on it. I try to avoid those mediums, but I want to do them soooo much. Not that I can do them traditionally...I can't. I don't have the medium, but I do love my pen and ink...and maybe next piece I'll add some Copics into the mix...really go crazy...er...ish?
I think that's it, my minions. No eye drops required, today. I'll make up for it, I promise. Remember to check my brand new page out, oh there are some fractals up under the Digital Art page, subpage Fractal Art. Those can be found on my stores. I am still not updating the other two, just focusing on the one. No real decision has been made on what I'm doing, but I have all month to mull, ponder and decide. Until next rant....errr...I mean time. Yes, time, that's it.
