There is a sale going on over at Society 6 with the promo code of SEPT25 and another one starting on Wednesday. I've noticed they've been having sales or deals all week, and I can't keep up without spamming the ever living hell out of you guys. So make sure you check Society 6 a lot for deals, they don't tell me about all of them. There is a brand spanking new piece up, and no I didn't spank the piece, it's a good piece. It was my abstract itch finally sated piece. Plus, the new product launched, and while it's not included in this sale...it's for sure something to check out. Furniture anyone? Tables, benches, stools (not poop), or credenza's anyone? I linked the purple text to the newest art piece. So check it out...and make sure you check out all the art, there's something for everyone. Love that Society 6 doesn't limit the art pieces you can have up in your store. I would still like to do an art culling, which I will probably do within the next month or so. I say that, but I probably won't because I get distracted by shiny objects.
I'm happy to report I'm working on a new piece and it's coming along. Well it's actually the piece I was talking about last week. I kind of got into a reading OCDness of goodness. I have tore through at least four books, or was it five? I lost count. I just started another one, obscure author of ghost stories that H.P. Lovecraft (my favouritest of all authors) gave a shout out to...way back when...and the author pre-dates him...I'm looking forward to it. I haven't quite balanced art with reading with adulting...but I am not trying to worry myself into a block. While I don't like the feels, I'm more logical, when it comes to art, you kind of have to feel like arting. I have had the feels for arting...which is a good thing, but the feels for reading has been a bit stronger as of late. Which is okay. I'm not going to stress out...I want the new piece to be good not forced...and you can tell when I force a piece, well at least I can tell.
In other news...I am sleep deprived from our latest gaming session. We ran a bit later than usual. It was a bit chaotic but all in all I think it was a good session. I forgot a few rules, but it's a new system...so I'm going to remember to implement them next time. Our dates are all set for this month. There is planning now that we are getting into the game. Not as much as when we were playing D&D but still notes and plans do have to be made for plot points and driving the story, along with a lot of improv. Another balance that still needs a bit of polishing. It'll work itself out...and there are things that I need to do...and remember to do.
This week is going to be busier...I have a Day of Dad this week. YAY!!! Always look forward to those days. Lots of arting and most likely lots of reading, too. I blame the very insane weather change of melt your face off, to Fall. Like a switch. I'm freezing...which I don't think I'm quite ready for. Granted, I prefer freezing to melt your face off...but I'd like some in between. Okay enough of the whining...
On that whiny note, I will leave you with a shameless plug of check out Society 6 and the sale, the new products, buy something...make the artist happy! On that note, I hope you have an amazing week and that I didn't give you eye strain. Toodles!
