I have finally finished resizing and prepping the old art to be uploaded onto Society 6. I am still doing daily uploads, so there is a TON of new art to feast your eyes and wallets on and a sale! Everyone loves a sale...I know I do! I am trying to keep Monday's uploads to the newer art and the rest of the week the older stuff. It has certainly been a trip down memory lane. There was way more art than I thought. It's good to have the brunt of the work past me. I can actually art again! As I said, I will be uploading new art daily on Society 6 get the safety net gone. I would do it all in one day, but I think daily uploads is better and a whole lot less time consuming. It does take awhile to upload on Society 6 because of the files I work with and all the wonderful product that has to be individually uploaded. It is very worth it, but it does try my limited patience at times. 4 seems to be the magical number....add a 2 and then you have the answer to the universe! Bonus!
I am going to actually be able to art this week! YAY! I have been so focused on the resizing and prepping for Society 6 that arting took a backseat. I have a lot of ideas, a piece that's been collecting virtual dust...and more rough sketches collecting an even bigger layer of virtual dust...at least I don't have to clean it. All in due time. Right now, I'm just excited to get back into the arting. I'm missing it. I for sure want to get the new pieces up to you, but I am going to mainly be focusing on the old stuff. It almost makes me miss abstract. I'm going to be experimenting with mashing up some genres because I can. Why not?
It's been quite the busy week for me, with a lot of socializing. We had an event to go to for the peanut galleries work last night. It was fun, loud, but I enjoyed myself. I don't think I could do it on a weekly basis, but it was all and all, good times. I also had a Dad day of running around...which is fun, but tiring. This week is looking a lot more calm. I do have some game planning to do, we have another date set for gaming. The weather is icky and sticky. Muggy and hot. I knew it'd happen sooner or later...but I was hoping a bit later. Storms, too. Fun times.
Oh I did upload a new profile picture for the art site...not the best I've taken, but not the worst. Can't see the pigtails that the peanut gallery says I look like a character out of Dr. Seuss. I'm okay with that. I also have minions wanting me to join several different new social media sites and that I am really considering. I am a bit intimidated by them, since I'm barely understanding the Twitter...but I do understand the need for the other sites.
Seems to me it'll be back to the normalness of insanity of my arty art world that I live in, minus the daily uploads. It's an actual relief to know that I'll be arting and getting back to my normal routine. I've been neglecting everything by focusing on the task of getting the art on Society 6. Now that the hardest part is done, I can get back to my regularly scheduled insanity, plus a daily upload. Which I won't be spamming on any of my other sites. I don't like to spam...and I think every single day is a bit much, and it takes away from the arting and the real life stuff...
On that rambling, windbag note I will leave you with moderate eye strain and giving you one more shameless plug to head over to Society 6 to see/buy the plethora of new art that now resides there. I will be seeing you again on the day that is hump. For now, I bid you an adieu.
