So I decided to add a picture, I haven't been quite as consistent as I'd like on uploading pictures onto the blog. Sometimes I just plain old forget, other times I just don't have time to do the edits. I'm working in a different format, one that Weebly doesn't like so much. It is a bit of extra work. Mostly it's just me forgetting, to be honest. I digress, this poor little Kitteh has gotten virtually no loving. He's outside of my arty comfort zone, and he's one of two in a set. I may put the matching piece on this next update. I named this piece "The Hunter Waits" if you are interested in him, the link on the title will take you to an art print. He's actually on a lot of different products to choose from on Society 6. From notebooks, to bath decor, to wall hangings to cellphone cases, shirts, tons of stuff. On an even BETTER and BIGGER note, Society 6 is having a huge Sunday sale! Ends @ midnight PST. Woohoo! It's a special, secret sale...that I got the heads' up on to give you all the heads' up on. Free shipping worldwide, I think it's 15% off of EVERYTHING! I can say from first hand experience, the products are awesome and I will be ordering more. I love my metal travel mug. It's virtually spill proof, which for me is a HUGE selling point. Great quality, easy to clean...and it's really cool seeing my art on my sippy cup. Yes, I call it a sippy cup because I am a klutz. I will tell you that story...
The story: It was an ordinary game session night...I had my tea cup and water glass on my drawing table which is located right next to the PC. Well upon reaching for my tea I spilled my water directly into the PC along with the keyboard, the mouse, it was a filled glass and took quite a bit of paper towel and canned air to get under control. The good news is nothing was damaged...peanut gallery, however, was not a happy camper and said I needed a sippy cup. I had/have one...that I used that night. It's boring purplish pink. I got the scathingly brilliant idea to order my very own personalized sippy cup to make me happy. I liked the metal ones...plus I got a dice bag aka carry all pouch (small) and a few notebooks, to boot! All with my art on it...yes I'm vain...but it does show me what you guys are ordering and the quality...which so far all great! So when I shamelessly pitch, like I'm doing now, I can stand behind from personal experience. I'm super happy with all the stuff I ordered so far.
Yeah, I'm thinking I'm glad I told you to bring the eye drops. Onto the news that is art...I have been arting...woohoo! I'm half way to that satisfied feeling I get. It's getting there. Not quite there, yet...but I'm having fun, letting go, and just not worrying about things I really have no control over. Whatever comes out, comes out. So far, nothing has landed in the recycle bin of no return. I have been doing a lot of abstract, which I know isn't pushing the boundaries...but Kitteh up top was a push. I'm not sure what was going on, but 2 pieces came out like that. I am not sure which one I liked better. The second piece I had some very clever names...all taken, sadly. ((sigh)) Not as clever as I thought. Oh well, such is life in a world where everything is taken, copy written, etc. It's a artist eat artist world out there...which I'm not sure if we should be against each other. I think, personally, we should all be supporting each other. Art is so relative. One persons' blech is another persons' WOWZA!
Well on that note and some light eye strain, I shall leave you to finish your day leading up to the weekend. For those that do the Superbowl thing, be safe and responsible, for the rest of us (no I don't do the Superbowl thing) still be safe and responsible. For everyone have a fantastical weekend and I will see you on the Monday...yes it'll be a full update day...because I think I like the full updates on Monday. Maybe because it's my quasi-Saturday? It is a mystery. On that mysterious note...I bid you a spooky, misty, adieu!
