We'll start in arty art news...I'm slowly getting a piece done. It's different. Outside of my comfort zone but yet inside an old comfort zone I placed in a shelf deep in my noggin. I'm really enjoying working on it...it's kind of pushing myself outside of the comfort zone and bringing me back some nostalgic feels, too. I know you are dying to see it...I don't show half finished pieces but I can say I'm doing surreal with a cartoon twist to it. It feels right....it's dark, and twisted. I am really getting lost in it...and there are a lot of details in all it's simplicity. I'm excited for it to be done so I can show it to all of you! I can tell you this Monday's updates will be older works, mostly abstract...remember the plague is limiting my time up here....
Speaking of...yup peanut gallery and I STILL have the plague. It is going away...slowly...ever so slowly. I wish it'd go at my pace, in which I'd have been over it a few days after I got it. Sadly, this one is clingy and annoying. It's mainly the cough, which has thrown my back out and made my ribs sore. UGH!! Wouldn't wish this on anyone. Neither one of us bounces back as quickly these days. I do plan on doing a light cardio today...with really light weights...this plague really got me weak. The moving around helps, just not too much moving around.
In other news, I'm still rallying behind #KeepYouTubeCreepy, the battle continues. The latest video from Rob Dyke was being demonetized and it wasn't even creepy, it hurt my head, it was about paradoxes. I can't believe YouTube would demonetize it. They are really being giant ass hats. To cater to the advertisers that advertise on creepier and gorier shit that's on TV. It really does piss me off. He has a ton more minions/fans than me, but he is such a source of arting inspiration. Such a creative and driven guy with a lot of integrity. Which is why I am supporting him specifically, as he really is THE go to for my creepy content stuff on YouTube. I hope YouTube gets off their high horse and starts paying these really talented folks' again.
So I think we got through everything, but I'm sure I'm forgetting something. My noggin' is a bit foggy this morning. Well if I remember that's what post-it notes are for and then the Monday blog. I will be trying to do a full update. Need to resize and get some pieces ready to go. I don't think the piece I was talking about earlier is going to make it. No rushing the arting process. I'm really making sure I'm getting textures right and trying to mull over the future of the piece. Backgrounds, details, etc. Letting the logic and the feels go into the piece.
On that note, I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! I will be trying to win the battle over the last of the plague. I'm so done. Until the Monday of Updates, minions, I bid you an adieu.
