Driving is just utter insanity...is it really THAT important to be somewhere that you have to put yourself and others' lives at risk?! The correct answer to this question is no. Absolutely not. Sadly, that is not the case. It seems to be getting worse each year. With the weather in all it's droopy rainy blech, that just makes things even more dicey. I was behind the wheel and took my time...even let people in when I could, and just tried to stay calm. Enter the Costco...
Costco was pure out insanity. People drive their carts like they do their cars, but with more reckless abandon. The traffic jams, of carts...seriously?! The sales weren't THAT great. It was like they were giving really good things away, besides the free samples of crap they are having issues selling in the first place, down aisles that just make it virtually impossible to shop, no they aren't giving anything away...**Shakes fists in anger** While the aisles were crammed...even down the aisles that are usually ghost towns...the lines were short. Whew. We focused on the task (the list) at hand...while it was bad, I only said out loud that I was pretending to suck the souls out of people once....just once...at that store...onto our second stop...
RCSS here we come!! (That's the Real Canadian Superstore) for those not in the "know". I found a really nice place to park a few weeks ago, hiding close to the doors, but the illusion is that is soooo far away...it's perfect. The main parking lot was just as bad if not worse than Costco, granted there is a Best Buy and other stores to be had in the same lot. That place was crazy stupid, too. All the self-entitled people stopping their carts in the middle of the aisle and leaving them to go look at something a few feet away on a shelf. Really?! The times we actually moved carts out of our ways and grumbling and grring. At one point a lady with her out of control spawn-things were driving me so crazy I almost told her kids that the Easter Bunny murdered Santa and there would be no Christmas this year. I was in a mood...and I stopped that intrusive thought. Whew. It was just bad. Again, lines notsomuch...but in the store
