Okay, where to start...where to start? Let's start with the sale, everyone loves a good sale...at least I really love a good sale. Along with a new product over at Society 6. Floor pillows...how cool is that? Now granted, I only have one design on said new product because time isn't something that's been on my side this week. The sale is 25% off all pillows and free shipping worldwide! Pretty cool, since they offer quite a few pillow options now. Really do love that Society 6 is constantly adding new products and they are really top notch quality, plus you are supporting artists, and they treat us pretty fairly. The most fair I've seen, and I've done a LOT of research before choosing Society 6. I can stand by their products.
In arty art news...I actually got to work on my piece yesterday! It's got a bit more to go than I thought, initially, but I really want everything to fit and flow and be detailed properly. It was nice to be able to work on it, plan some stuff for it, and just art. I haven't had a lot of opportunity to do arting this week. It was nice just to be able to do it. That is after a glitch in the PC that had me freaked out...**insert segue card here**
So on a restart of my PC, it got hung up somewhere and wouldn't restart. I was in a curfunkle...then I remembered an old friend from high school said if I ever needed help with IT (he is an IT guy) to message him. Message him I did. He walked me through it and the PC is happy and working again. I learned something new in the process. I can do software side of things on the PC but when it comes to the guts and brains of the PC, nope. Not happening. Very cool of him to help me through, 2 restarts as my Wacom was being very insistent on being updated. Everything went smoothly...all is well in my reality.
The curfunkle of the week was just that. I'm trying NOT to drop the F bomb of the kind of week I was having...I'm also not going into gory details, just that it was very stressful the hump day blog was not going to happen. I had one written, both the peanut gallery and I both agreed it was not a good one. I was for sure having an off day. That is why I decided, even though in Monday's blog I said I wasn't going to, a Friday blog would be good to do. I'm in a better state of mind as the dust is settling, ducks are getting back in their row. There's bumps and obstacles still, but nothing out of the ordinary, nothing I can't defeat...**heroic pose**
So, on that note, dear minions, I am going to leave you without eye strain. Make sure you check out the sale, it ends Sunday night PST over at Society 6. Full update will be on Monday, I'm hoping to put some more pieces up and also try and sneak in some of the more popular of my pieces on the floor pillows before the sale ends. Happy weekend!!
