First and foremost, there is another sale going on over at Society 6. A flash sale, as I didn't get any notice...it's a pretty good one on all things warm and cozy. It ends tonight at midnight PST, the usual. Still a great sale and as I've said before and I'll keep saying, their product quality is amazing. So make sure you check out the Society 6 sale and buy some warm and cozy stuff...it's pretty good timing as we are actually getting fall weather, that will change, but right now it's all chilly and drippy...
In arting news...there are 2 new pieces up on Society 6 as well, to go along with the sale. Go me! They were in the net of safety which really isn't growing too much...makes me a bit nervous. I'll be fine...even if it disappears...well it means there will be more blogging and less uploading of the art...Trust me, I'm arting...it's just the pieces that I am doing are taking a lot longer...I have a lot of rough sketches to be worked on. A lot of them. Just need to work on them.
In more world of arting...I finished the piece for Matt Steady a bit ahead of time. Shocking! It for sure was a journey...through his music and my noggin monsters' were loving it. It went from somewhat normal into very surreal and bizarre. I'm glad he loved it. I actually got a bit nervous on sending it. I will probably put it up on Society 6 maybe next week or the week after. Not sure when...It was really awesome to get in the zone and the album for sure is a solid one. I loved it. I got a few suggestions from his fans for other bands to check out, which I will be doing...when I get some other stuff done. I really never know where a piece is going to take me when the music is being played. Even when it's not...I start out with an idea and then I get into the piece and the noggin monsters' take over. I would say the majority of the time the piece ends up completely different than the initial idea I had.
In more news, there's a day of Dad tomorrow! A torture, aka workout planned today and a lot of arting going to be happening. I set aside the big piece I was working on, I think it's going to be the piece I work on when I'm semi-blocked. A safety net of sorts for me. It's a solid piece...but I have been sketching other stuff, and working on other stuff and waiting very impatiently for those damn brush sets to go on sale...here's hoping today. No, I haven't checked...won't until the updates are updated...it's how I roll.
On that note minions, I leave you with virtual wellies, an umbrella and a rain slicker...if you are having a drippy hump day, stay dry, if you are not, well you can have them anyways, because there are always rainy days...unless you live in the desert, or some other dry climate. Until the Monday of mystery...I don't know what'll happen between now and then...I bid you an adieu.
