Okay, you may have noticed that I gutted Weebly aka the blog site. What you are reading right now. Yup, it's been cleaned up to be just where the blog lives. I was getting a lot of feedback from some minions and there is some confusion, that I am hoping to clear up here...hence bringing the eye drops. Not a lot of you know that I actually have a store...despite the links I provide in the blog and the plethora of buttons that I provide. Mostly the confusion is on Facebook. You can still support me here (tab above) without buying art, and there are still my commissions of yesteryear up as well. I didn't want to take everything art down. To see the art you need to click the buttons or go to Deviant Art or Society 6. I will occasionally feature art on a blog, if it's getting a lot of attention, gets featured, etc. Other than that, this is where the eye strain will be happening.
Onto the Facebook overhaul. Yup, I've been a busy little overlord...errr I mean artist this week. I have converted that site into a store site as well...while you can't get the product directly from Facebook it does lead you directly to my store, Society 6 with a bit more ease. Transforming Facebook helps me to make the sales easier to find and get in on. Even when you need a promo code, it can do that. I highly suggest you head over and like Facebook as it's becoming more than just another social media site I'm on...Yes, I'll still be posting on the home page of this site the sales, promo's, etc., so there are no changes there. I'm just trying to make it easier on all the minions, new and old! I'm still learning the new stuff on Facebook, but I'm getting there. It's very cool what it offers.
Okay next! The arty art news. I am still not done with the piece I'm working on. I'm getting there...there's a lot of detail that is taking a bit longer than I'd like, plus adulting is getting in the way...grrr on adulting. I'm really hoping I'll have it done by next update...I can't promise anything at this point. I know what is left is going to have a lot of details, but it is turning out better than I imagined. This new genre is taking a bit longer for me to create pieces, but it's so get into the zone inspiring satisfaction creating that I think it's worth it. Plus, I'm growing and learning a ton of new things on a daily basis, without frustration at this point. Happy artist. Very happy.
There really isn't a lot of more, except for trying to plan a next gaming session and planning said content of said gaming session. I've been doing really good on the fly, but I still need my notes. Kind of like rough sketches and sketch journals for arting. You need that base foundation to work off of. That's how I'm taking the gaming sessions now. Let my group create the story and me just guiding them and if they get too off the mark, make sure they get back on track. It's taking a lot of hours off of planning the session so I have said extra hours to art...it all comes full circle.
On that eye straining note, my minions, I shall leave you here. I will most likely be doing a hump day blog this week. It felt really weird not doing one last week...my noggin' really wasn't in the right frame of mind for it. As I said in the previous blog, I wrote one, but it was wrong on many levels. All is well and the windbag overlor....err I mean artist is back! Until next time, minions, I bid you an adieu!
