Firstly, there is a new piece up over at Society 6 and huge promo sales for every day of the week including today, which I didn't know about, so I'm not sure if these promo codes I'm going to give you will match up. If they don't, I do apologize, I just am given the sales, they can change them and I rarely know about it.
So today is GETARTFS, tomorrow ART20FS, it goes by day, but the dates don't match...so I'd be checking Society 6 a lot. Here's the rest of them: HANGITUP, GETDECOR and STICKART. The new product is on most everything except wallpaper...my art just doesn't jive with it. The links take you to the new art on all it's product, but there is a ton of art...this new piece was a bit different, because I'm a bit blocked.
Okay so last week...yeah...right..suuuurrrre. Monday was an utter nightmare, coffee maker broke, car broke, I broke....everything broke. Now the car seems to have a plague AGAIN. For those in my area that are having car issues and are looking for an honest, tell it like it is, but also compassionate mechanic head over to Steve's Auto Service. Everyone there is just really amazing. They saved our lives, kind of literally...we were one brake slam away from all brake systems fail. Steve really takes the time to show you and while I was breaking because ERMAGERD it was an extensive fix, he was so kind about it. I was freaking out...bad...more because we did a few errands that needed to be done before we took it in...Including getting a new coffee maker because hubby and really thought it was just the evap line. It was a WHOLE lot worse than that...but the fix was timely...oh yeah new brakes, too. Steve drove us home, and picked the hubby up the next day when it was ready. Showing him all of the tetanus giving rust and lack of brake pad. That's what really gave me the good feeling, is that he shows you what's wrong before and really explains it to you. Just amazing guy, and amazing staff.
Okay next big thing is I'm going on vacation until the 30th. I need to take a break. I'm blocked and I need to unblock myself. I kept promising myself early on in the year I'd take more vacation and I haven't been. Well my fun meter is full...I need a vacation. I'll be trying to get over my block with no little beasties in my noggin saying you have to, the minions will be disappointed in you...now now now, go go go!!! I have a few ideas for a new piece, and I will work on it, but just when I want to...put those beasties back in their cages.
So we had a game session last night. It was the campaign finale. What I saw in my head and what happened...totally two different things. We had a long hiatus between sessions and the shenanigans' were running extremely high. The mood wasn't really set...not the way I had envisioned it. The players' have all started their new characters for the new system...and we were up well past 2am. Hence the sleep deprivation. That and not sleeping good...did not help things. I think we're doing a game session next week? I'm really not sure, but it was being bandied about.
This week is also the Day of Dad and an extra day off for the hubby. So YAY!! For both. I need both...they are my heroes and the ones' that keep my sanity in check. Damn beasties...I was really hoping this would be a super good week...and it will be...after we figure out what the hell is wrong with the poor car and it doesn't cost us any money...that's the goal. I'm sure Steve will fix that problem. He's a really good mechanic.
On that note minions, make sure to check out those amazing sales on Society 6 and you have yourselves an amazing week. And next week...no eye strain...no listening to me whine and bitch...I hope this one wasn't too whiny or bitchy...On that note, I bid you an adieu.
