There are no new pieces up over on Society 6 and it's not from lack of trying. There is a great sale going on over there, though. So hop on over and check it out! Treat yourself. You deserve it! I have a piece filling my desktop with resizes for today! Sadly, the uploader is not working for me. I have a ticket open, last night, actually and they responded within 15 minutes, and not the automated we got your message be patient, blah, blah, blah. No a person...he gave me a work-a-round, that didn't work...then I tried to send him a file so they could take a look...I couldn't get the file small enough...that is what she said...even compressed and in another format. I work in very large files and formats, to give you the very best!
The Corel nightmare is finally over...I am currently re-calibrating brushes, again...and I am almost through the F's of my purchased brush sets. I may have 1000 brushes to go. I won't count them, as I do not want to overwhelm the hamsters in my noggin, nor disturb the gremlins in there. All I know is that I did find a few wonky and off brush sets...ones that I remember quite differently but haven't cross checked. Mainly out because I do not want to deal with their customer service...at all...period...I just can't. So I dealt with the set in question, and calibrated them. I will probably compare the set...but not yet. If there is an issue, I don't think I can do the calibrations yet again.
With that being said, there is no new art...I will be trying to upload the piece I have ready throughout the week and work with Society 6 to solve the issue. They rock for fixing shit. Quickly and efficiently. I like both of those words when it comes to fixing issues. The piece is an older one, from the previous version of Painter. But it's strong and very abstract. I have one Mandala left, that is older...but I'm saving that, or it may hit the recycle bin of no return. The Mandala phase is over for now...I have some ideas to put them in other pieces but just those, I am over my need to art them. I have sooo many ideas...and a rough sketch itching to be done. But one step at a time. Brush calibrations first, then...art.
This week is going to be somewhat busy. I have a day of Dad week, and the usual crap. I did start working out again!! Go me! Damn am I out of shape. In different ways. My legs for sure aren't used to walking and jogging...they feel weak. My arms, just sore from the weights. I don't plan on giving up...nothing in life comes easy. I am hoping to get all of the brushes calibrated. So it's a mental and physically challenging week. I'm ready to face it...come what may.
And on that note, minons...LOOK it's not that long of a blog!! I will be trying to get that piece uploaded onto Society 6 this week. When I get them up I will Tweet and FB a message out. So keep an eye on those social media sites. For now, I shall bid you and adieu!! I hope you own your week!!
