We'll start with the serious stuff first, then get onto the other stuff. So this week is Abstract update week. Why? Well there are 2 main reasons. One, is I am still fighting the plague off. It's almost gone...just the cough is clinging on for dear life, and even that is going away. My energy levels are still a bit low...but I'm getting there, slowly. Secondly, I do want to get rid of the safety net. If I get blocked, well I'll just have to deal with it. It's thinning out rapidly...and it is actually exciting for me.
It's a full update of 4 pieces on Society 6. Some are actually newer abstract pieces that weren't supposed to be abstract but ended up like that. 2 are much older and I'm glad they are seeing the light and getting out of my safety net. Check it out, and buy stuff! Make the artist do her happy dance, which will NEVER go on video, ever. I dance as good as I'm photogenic...not good. Speaking of, I'm hoping to get my hair did so I can post some updated profile pictures. The undercut is a bit scraggly...still loving it though. I can look normal AND I can look like a spunky weirdo that I am and it's interchangeable. How cool is that?! So make sure you check out Society 6 for the Abstract themed week!
I am flooded with ideas, even though I'm still working on my current piece...it's almost done. I have to credit the idea flooding from a band that I've been following for awhile, Under A Banner. They are out of the UK, the lead singer Adam is a great guy. The one interaction with Simon of me swimming across the ocean to attend one of their performances was just hilarious. They all seem to be just really great people that are just amazing creators. Their latest album The Wild Places which is available on GooglePlay is just amazing. I am not sure which song is my favourite! Check this band out...they are so unique. I'm planning on another put music on repeat and arting a piece inspired by them. With the new genre I'm heading in, who knows what will come out.
Onto the hilariousness of Deviant Art that happened today. I was called a narcissist and scum...I'm sure I'm not the only one that it was directed toward, but I was the last one that commented. It was about commissions on that site. I spoke my mind, which is my M.O. you want sugar coated, fluffy clouds and unicorns, I'm not the person to go to for that. I tell it like it is. Anyone that knows me knows this...sadly the person that started the forum did not. No, I'm not naming names, there will be no witch hunt. I just found it extremely amusing. If you start a forum asking a question expect answers you may not agree with...or even want to hear. Silly in all it's forms. Peanut gallery was like welcome to the club! He's a commission salesman and the forum was about commissions but as in art not what peanut gallery does. Still same shit different boat in a lot of ways. I am still chuckling over it. I think I should put Narcissistic Scumbag on my business cards when I get around to printing them. Just for fun. I won't, but I would be amused by it. I wasn't trolling and I don't consider it being trolled, I do find it highly amusing and it will probably be an ongoing joke for sometime.
In other news...yes, the plague is still clinging for dear life. It's almost done. Almost. I haven't gotten a full light workout in but I'm hoping this week I will. That and I'll have the energy to art more. I have been doing the art, but in smaller bursts. I just don't have a lot of focus or energy. I think once the working out gets back to normal I will have the focus and energy. Still plugging along the best I can. Listening to my body...trying to get back into the crazy hours I put in. This plague is just crazy...the cough is really the only thing left, annoying and I'm very impatient for it to be gone...add allergies on top of it...stupid Cottonwood trees...grrrr and you have a perfect storm of is it the plague or the allergies? I'll never know.
On that note minions, your narcissistic scumbag overlord is off. I shall bid you an adieu until hump day!
