We'll start with the 200...almost minions...Please head over to Facebook invite your friends, like the page, if you haven't already. The piece is waiting for you all. I had a few minions leave, but a few join. So welcome aboard to the new minions! Remember eyedrops and caffeine....best way to make it through with your sanity intact. Although, if you are following me I question your sanity to begin with...I digress, we are getting close...and I'm really excited to present the 200. It was a really fun piece to do. When we hit the 200, we will obviously be aiming for more, but I'll be focusing on getting the Twitter up. That site is a yo-yo...mainly because of the followers you get that want you to pay them to get more followers, which I consider cheating. All followers I get I want to get fairly. Including FB. I am getting ahead of myself at this point...let's just focus on getting 200. Thank you to all the minions that are helping me get the likes and sharing the site. It means a lot to me.
Onto the Monsters. Yup, I have officially begun a "Monster Series" which came about on the mountain of rough sketches...which are pretty much all monsters. An old monster debuted this week on Society 6 this week. His name is Snuggles. He is an older monster...done purely digital. He is on a ton of different products...including a graphic T-shirt. So make sure you head on over to visit him. Give him a new home. He'd really like that, especially since he's been living in a folder for a number of months. More are on the way. I was actually able to scan some more rough sketches in...and they are set and ready to go. One is being worked on right now. He's a special fellow...and he's going to need some love.
Yup, that's right minions. I've been arting. Finally! My foot is not 100% by any stretch of the imagination...but I was actually able to scan 6 of the I have no idea how many sketches I've done in. Prep them into the size I need...and work on one. I do need couch breaks, but for the most part it seems the worst is over. I am still walking funny...but my foot accepted an actual shoe on Monday. I was shocked. It wasn't mad at me at the end of the day, either. It still gets a bit pissy here and there...but the bruises are still there, so I expect it.
Arting has also involved letting the canvas go...and I've gotten a few really good pieces out of those sessions, but right now I'm so giddy about my "Monsters" that they have been dominating the time. Granted the background for most don't exist because Society 6
